Atten is a place where all kinds of people can enjoy what they love. New members are always welcome. There aren't many complicated rules. These guidelines are a promise we make to each other so everyone can feel comfortable.
You're a member of Atten. And you have the power to make this community a better place.
The kinds of things below can make others uncomfortable or hurt the community atmosphere.
-
Excessive complaining and badmouthing Writing mean things or grievances about someone. Instead of using words that tear others down, use words that lift people up. Even if you're not saying it directly, people around you can still feel the negativity.
-
Exposure and bringing in outside drama Sharing screenshots or conversation logs without permission. This also includes bringing up incidents from other services or calling people out publicly.
-
Fights and arguments Deliberately provoking others or dragging out arguments. It's fine to disagree, but there's no need for words meant to hurt.
-
Announcing mute or report Declaring "I muted someone" or "I reported someone." People who see that may feel awkward or put on the spot. If you need to use these features, do so quietly.
-
Vulgar language or images Posting crude language or sexual images. For the sake of those who may soon become part of Atten, and for those who are already here, remember that some people may find this uncomfortable.
Even if something bothers you, try focusing on what you enjoy. Reacting to posts you like, sharing your thoughts and creations — these small things add up to create a comfortable place.
Atten belongs to everyone, including you. Let's make it a great place together.
